Among them, the export was 965.49 billion yuan, down 1.9%; Imports were 633.77 billion yuan, down 7.8%. In dollar terms, in the first four months of this year, the import and export of Shanghai customs area reached 260.59 billion dollars, down 4.6%. Among them, the export was 157.39 billion US dollars, down 2.2%; Imports reached US $103.2 billion, down 8.1%.

From the perspective of the textile industry, the customers of textile instruments are mainly government units, university laboratories and powerful listed companies. At present, the procurement of government units is gradually decreasing, and the powerful private enterprises are moving to Southeast Asia due to the increase of labor costs. The procurement of university laboratories requires higher and higher equipment quality.

How should the textile instrument industry walk out of the shadow?

First, we should strengthen foreign trade exports, make full use of the national policy advantages of the "the Belt and Road Initiative" and the "Asian Investment Bank", actively go global, integrate resources in the international market, and improve comprehensive competitiveness.
