Not long ago, the author was invited to participate in the national symposium on new weaving products, and found that most of the representatives talked about the current situation of enterprises with gloomy faces. They are concerned about when the market situation will improve. Many of the questions mentioned are: Why did the enterprise transform and upgrade, but failed to achieve results? What link is wrong? Why are some new technologies, new products, new equipment and new materials not popularized?
At present, the domestic and international market situation is severe, the production enterprises have overstocked products, and the capital flow is not smooth. How to avoid the old way of homogeneous production, and how to avoid vicious low price competition? Then, only by implementing transformation and upgrading, can enterprises survive.
According to statistics, by the end of 2013, China had 2.432 million looms of all kinds, including 1.095 million shuttle looms, accounting for 45%, and 1.337 million shuttleless looms, including air jet looms, water jet looms, rapier looms and other types of products. Over the years, with the continuous improvement of the production capacity of many enterprises, domestic shuttle looms have been seriously overcapacity. In addition, shuttle looms are mostly medium and low-grade products, with low production efficiency and high unit energy consumption. Water jet looms can only be used for single filament fabrics.
According to the statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics in 2013, the inventory of finished products in China's chemical filament weaving industry reached 6.056 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 22.22%, which has exceeded the market capacity. Especially in the areas with dense water jet looms in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, the environmental pollution caused by water jet looms affects the living environment of residents. At present, the relevant regions have eliminated or eliminated nearly half of the shuttle looms and water jet looms that produce low-end and homogeneous products through market and administrative means, which will undoubtedly be good for weaving enterprises in the future.
In fact, many textile machinery enterprises have realized that they can no longer follow the old path of homogenized production, make decisions and engage in vicious competition at low prices. Whoever ^ first finds the key to opening the market for profit can survive, ^ first truly transforms and upgrades can ^ first get out of the predicament.
Transformation and upgrading are not two separate concepts, but a whole. Enterprises should not only change their own way of thinking and development model, but also have their own proprietary core technology. Only by effectively unifying the two can we achieve good results.
Through this new product seminar, I found that the topic that everyone talked about was that our enterprise has been transformed and upgraded. Why is it ineffective?
When it comes to the understanding and practice of specific transformation and upgrading, many people have separated transformation and upgrading, believing that transformation is to change the production varieties, thus changing the situation of variety losses. For example, when making pure cotton yarn and white woven fabric, it will be changed to rayon yarn, chemical fiber blended yarn, color spun yarn, and color woven fabric. The so-called upgrade means that the product is upgraded from low to middle grade, and the old equipment is upgraded to new equipment. Many enterprises mistakenly believe that as long as they invest in high-end advanced equipment, they will be able to make high-end products, causing unit costs to rise, while the price of products is still not going up, and the recovery of investment is indefinite. The reason is that there is no core technology product of its own, no long-term strategic consideration, and the hope is always placed on the new functions of new equipment.
What is core technology? The core technology is the technology that others cannot copy and imitate. It has its own unique patent and process formula, which can not be achieved by buying advanced equipment alone. Therefore, some enterprises adopt a simplified approach. They have neither their own products with unique technical content nor a stable product market. New products made by changing production varieties and management are not up to date, but may fall into a new round of homogenization trap.
