Purpose:
This instrument mainly measures the whiteness of paper and paperboard, pulp and chemical fiber pulp, cotton and chemical fiber, textiles, plastics, ceramics, pond porcelain, starch, salt, white cement, porcelain clay, talc and other objects. It can also measure the opacity and other optical properties of thin sheet materials.
1. Determine the blue diffuse reflectance factor (R457) of the sample, which is called "blue brightness" or "ISO brightness".
2. Analyze whether the sample material contains fluorescent whitening agent, and determine the fluorescent whiteness generated by fluorescent emission, that is, whiteness.
3. Measure the luminance stimulus value Y10 of the sample, that is, the green light diffuse reflection factor Ry.
4. Measure the opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient of the sample.
5. Determine the ink absorption value of paper and paperboard.

Main technical characteristics:
1. This instrument complies with GB3978-83; Standard illuminant and illumination observation conditions. Simulate D65 illumination. D/o illumination is used to observe the geometric conditions. The diameter of the diffuse sphere is 150 mm, the diameter of the test hole is 30 mm, and the light absorber is set to eliminate the influence of the specular reflected light of the sample. The peak wavelength of the spectral power distribution of the R457 whiteness optical system is 457nm, and the FWHM is 44nm. The Y10 optical system complies with GB3979-83; Object color measurement method.
